Summary
Dr. Michael Marquardt has been treating children for nearly 25 years, much of that time, in the Brazos Valley. He moved into the St. Joseph Medical Office Building in South College Station in November 2010. It was during medical school at Texas A&M that Dr. Marquardt realized his passion for children's medicine. "There are few things that compare to the opportunity to intervene in and be a part of a child or family's life, whether that is my own family or that of a patient's," said Dr. Marquardt. Since his human children have left home, Dr. Marquardt now tends to babies of the four-legged variety; he raises and breeds alpacas. Cycling and what he describes as "binge exercising" also occupy some of Dr. Marquardt's free time.
