Dr May explained the biopsy procedure in great detail and reviewed my mamaogram results with me. I felt no pain during the procedure and his staff was very kind and supportive. I was very lucky to receive my results the next day which is highly unusual but my results were negative and I did not have the stress of waiting a week to see if I had breast cancer. Dr May also checked on me with a phone call and a follow up visit after the procedure to make sure I was healing properly. It's been 4 days and I am back at the gym and my life is back to normal! Thank you again to Dr May and his lovely staff.

Dr. Michael May, MD, is the most caring, genuine doctor I have ever met, and I've had doctors at the Cleveland Clinic (for my wife, open heart surgery) and had treatment for cancer at MD Anderson; Cleveland being ranked #1 for heart and MD Anderson ranked #1 for cancer treatment (rankings by U.S. News and World Report), but no one can beat Dr. May for his genuine caring and concern for his patients. To say that Dr. May goes the extra-mile for his patients is a great understatement. He checks on patients after he has met with them and follows up long afterwards because he cares about the long-term outcome for his patients. He did a masterful job in analyzing my chest x-rays, CT scans, and removing fluid from my lung through thoracentisis. He is the doctor who told me I should get the fluid drained from my right lung, and he made absolutely the right call as he was able to remove 1000 cc's of pleural effusion from my right lung, enabling me to breath easier right away. My… thoracentisis was not easy, and he did a masterful job in minimizing pain during the whole procedure while removing all of the fluid which should not have been in my pleural space. His follow-up after a procedure is amazing. Any patient fortunate enough to find himself or herself under the care and patient management of Dr. May should count himself or herself truly blessed.
