Dr. Michael Benjamin Mayer, MD

Dr Mayer was on time, efficient, and performed a scoping of my vocals cords without any problems. He answered my questions and was pleasant to deal with.

Dr Mayer was rude and uncaring. He did not address all of the issues that I went to him for. He was abrupt with my examination and I would not go back to him.

I was a new patient for Dr.Mayer, and I needed an immediate appointment with the audiologist because of schedule issues and he listened to my situation and booked me an appointment immediately the next day, later on he followed up with me about my appointment and honestly never met a doctor like him who was so accommodating.

This guy is a miserable excuse for a doctor, very unhelpful and uncaring.

I can't say enough nice things about Dr Mayer. He was professional, concerning, and an amazing surgeon. I would recommend him to anyone!

I am shocked by the bad review for Dr Mayer, I personally believe they are by the same person over and over again. I literally never wrote reviews but after reading the bad review(s) (which don't say why they think he's a bad dr) I had to write my experience just in case other people read that and try a different doctor. I had been to 5 doctors prior to Dr Mayer or was always it's just a cold take musinex and over the counter meds. Or take a zpack it will go away. After 4 months of having constant pressure on my face and not,being able to breathe my cousin says I took my son the this Dr at summit medical you should try him. At this point honestly I didnt even want to go to anymore doctors bc nothing had been done that I got used to not being able to breathe or taste or hear since my head was so stuffy but I said what the heck I'll go. Dr Mayer was very thorough I have had many (over20) surgeries in the past totally unrelated bc it was in my stomach but they always want medical… history. Anyway I wanted to try anything but surgery but I had chronic sinusitis and because it had been so many months he didnt think stronger antibiotics and nasal,spray would help but bc if my history I didn't want to jump into surgery. He was very comforting and kind he understood my hesitation but my sinus cavities to be drained so I had no choice. Thankfully I listened bc he was so caring I've never had a doctor explain step by step what would happen and spend almost an hour with me calming me bc just the word surgery terrifies me. So to hear he has no bedside manner was shocking to me. Anyway thankfully I can breathe again and smell and taste and I don't have constant pressure on my head. The surgery was nothing compared to everything else I was a little sore but not even enough to take a Tylenol. He's a great doctor I would recommend everyone go to him not only is he straight to the point but he genuinely cares. The 1st doctor to call me after surgery to see how I feel too which was honestly shocking since its never happened b4 and this was more I would say a procedure but they call it "surgery" . sorry for rambling on and on I just couldn't believe anyone could say a bad thing about this doctor!!

I can't say enough good comments about Dr. Michael Mayer. My son had several ear infections and I went to Dr. Mayer for a third opinion after two other doctors said he needed ear tubes. Dr. Mayer was upfront and honest saying my son did not need ear tubes. He said at his age he would grown out of having ear infections. I really like Dr. Mayer especially as he was so honest and was good with my kids. I highly recommend him!

Dr Mayer is a good doctor. I went to him in spite of the previous comments. I was very suspicious of them because they all sound like they were written by the same person. not sure what their agenda is. the doctor was polite friendly and was interested in my comments. he was not rushed. the front desk was very good. no waiting time either appointment. first time maybe 5 minutes second time less. I would recommend this doctor.

Horrible doctor, didn't care about anything except moving on to the next co-payment. Awful.
