Dr Mayes is the Best doctor I have ever had. He is very knowledgeable, caring, compassionate and hard working. He goes out of his way for his patients. He called me on a Saturday afternoon to inform me of an important issue that he saw reading my tests from the day before. I Highly recommend Dr Mayes.

I am a long time patient of Dr. Mayes. Getting an appointment is an absolute nightmare. Getting a callback is next to impossible. When I actually get to see him he seems caring and concerned. I do think he orders too many expensive tests.

I like Dr Mays a lot, although I think he prescribes too many tests. I don't know if this is protection from malpractice or pressure from the group to bring in money, but you just have to know when to say no. I think he is a very concerned and talented doctor. I wish he had his own practice. I think Heritage Partners has financial problems and it impacts his practice. I don't like the annual fee that we are made to pay to help offset the medicare patients. Also troubling is the 2 - 2.5 hour wait time.
