Dr. Michael David Mcbeth, MD

I grew up in Denver, Colorado, and learned to appreciate the outdoors at an early age. I joined the U.S. Navy after high school to see the world and ended up operating a nuclear power plant on a fast-attack submarine off the East Coast. Afterwards, I attended college and medical school at the University of Colorado (go Buffs!) through a Navy scholarship. After my surgery internship, I went to flight school and served as a naval flight surgeon. Multiple deployments aboard aircraft carriers led me to six continents; the places I visited included Central America, the Indian Ocean, and Somalia. As a Naval Reserve officer I served in Operation Iraqi Freedom with the Marine Corps, and I am now attached to the Naval Medical Center San Diego Pain Department. I have a wonderful wife of 30-plus years and two grown children of whom I am very proud. I love everything about baseball and try to visit at least one new Major League Baseball stadium every year with my family.
