Dr. Michael Leigh Mcbrearty, MD

DR. McBrearty has been my doctor since he began practicing in Fairhope in 1976. He is the most caring and excellent physician, who takes the time to really listen and do everything he can to help. He is wise and wonderful!

I have used Dr. McBrearty since I was a small child, about 25 + years. Even when I moved to other states I considered him my primary doctor and would travel home to use him when possible. He has always been so kind, compassionate to me and everyone else in my family, (they also have used Dr. McBrearty for years). He is truly a gem & I wish there were more like him.

my visit was very prompt. I was taken care of in an efficient and professional manner. Dr. McBrearty is a very caring physician and I would recommend him to my family and friends.

Dr. Mc Brearty has been my doctor for many years. He is most wonderful doctor. He has a very caring way about him. When you talk to him, he really listens. He actually talks to you like a real person. He's got a great sense of humor and he is an excellent physician. He is healer by his very nature. I always feel better after I see him.

Dr. McBrearty is by far, one of the most compassionate physician on the Gulf Coast! He is not a "candy-coater". He is a "straight shooter". This is the kind of physician I have always used. When I moved to the Gulf Coast, it took me a ride to the E.R. @ Thomas Hospital to have the pleasure of being placed with him because I was an "unattached" patient. This man literally saved my life. Eventhough I have moved & am not close by, I still maintain him as my PCP. KUDOS to his love of medicine & what being a Family Doctor means, loving his profession as a healer, mentor & friend!! His nurse, Chasity, is by far, the friendliest he has had & she always listens to you. They make you feel like you matter...that's what it's all about!! The front-desk, completely different matter. Some are greetier friend-fake & some are frowning, looking at the patient as though they are totally disqusting & the worst, not realizing when talking about a patient (especially the ones they are making fun of) can… still be heard by some in the waiting area. They tend to forgot, we, the patients, are the ones keeping that facility going. It's unfortunate they act so unprofessional, but I guess that's the price you pay if you want to be treated by the best.

Dr. McBrearty really takes time to talk with patients and hear them out. He is able to handle difficult patients as well as routine patients with humor and firmness as needed.
