I really like Dr. Mccarty. He is a great doctor and more holistic than most of the doctors I have been to. He sits with you and makes you feel heard. I am really disappointed that he left the practice, because he is the by far and away the best PCP I have had.

This doctor knew I was shopping for a new doctor and he knew that he was leaving the practice but did not tell me. I saw him twice, including for a physical. When I found out I asked him why he would accept new patients and he said he had no response.

I am so happy to have found Dr. McCarty - he is an exceptional doctor, he is very personable, he listens and seems to genuinely care about my wellness. He takes time to find out all my symptoms and medical background and speaks to me at length explaining procedures, testing and possible outcomes, he is far more holistic in his advice than any other doctor I have been to. Going to the doctor is no so bad when you have a great doctor like Dr. McCarty

Dr. McCarty is a rare doctor -- he listens. He tries to understand his patients lives and recommends treatment options that fit within those different lives. My whole family and extended friendship network rely on him for primary care and care for back pain.

My experience at Fort Collins Primary Care with Dr McCarty has been top notch! Dr McCarty is a brilliant Dr and word on the street about him is excellent. After my initial visit to Dr McCarty, I referred my family and friends. They have all been totally pleased with the care and the staff.

I have to agree with the prior comment about his forgetfulness, not taking time to listen and figure out what is going on, and his partners are HORRIBLE. He also has a Sanction against him, and so lied to me about why HE couldn't examine me.Also double charged me and puts ads on Craig's List... I should have known better!!
