Dr. Michael R. Mcclintock

Not recommended.

He didn't answer my questions I had during the appointment...and during other appointments I've had with him, they have been billed differently than what they were and ended up costing me way more than they should have.

I've been taking my children to Dr. McClintock for 10 years. I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes to see him. Whenever I call 1st thing in the morning, there's always an appointment available. My kids love him, and he takes his time with us. I recommend him to all of my friends! My monster-in-law had to take my daughter one time, and instead of telling me I chose the wrong doctor, she said she was really pleased with him. Now THAT is saying something!!!

Even though he is not my daughter's PCP, he did an incredible job recognizing the seriousness of my daughter's condition and keyed us in on her VERY elevated white blood cell level. Due to that one clue, he made the determination to send us directly to the hospital and directed them to test for specific things (they didn't have the necessary equipment in their office). It was because of him that the hospital diagnosed her in less time than if they redid the entire examination. He is a very efficient, mattter-of-fact doctor that is very good at what he does. We have such gratitude for all that he did for us.

I cannt agree more. He always refers to patients as "Mom" and "Dad" and is overworked! His Diagnosis is not so accurate and he seems to be in a hurry. he doesnt explain properly on why he is administering you with some medication. I cannt agree more with the first comment.

The other person who wrote the review must not be that familiar with the doctor. My son has been seeing him for four years now and loves the doctor. He is a very busy doctor but will take time out of his schedule to personally call you back if you have any concerns. He met with me and my husband when I was pregnant and I was pleased with the interview and we chose him as our son's pediatrician. My son constantly talks about him after a visit and pretends to be him.

When this doctor arrives to the appointment, he is almost guaranteed to call the parent "Mom" or "Dad" and will not know the patient's name until he looks at the chart. In the past, he has ordered multiple tests for my son, and when we come for the follow-up visit he has recommended the same tests again because he did not read his appointment schedule or my son's chart ahead of time. As a parent, I've had to point out problems with blood work, which really is not my job to do. On the other hand, when you confront the doctor with this evidence that he is not focusing on you, his current patient, he will admit it, then will slow down and give a more thorough exam and address problems that exist.
