It was in high school that I took a four year health occupations course that focused my attention to the field of oral health. My senior year I interned with a local dentist and continued to work with him chairside while I earned my college undergraduate degree. After completing my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1996 at the University of Florida/Shands Hospital, I returned home and worked with the very same dentist who trained me in the early years.

Since this time I have continued to focus my efforts in the areas of technology, cosmetics, facial rejuvenation, functional rehabilitation and nutrition as they relate to oral health. Nutrient intake, and therefore general systemic health, begins with the teeth. As our other organ systems age and wear over time, the one area we have complete control over is nutrient intake (ie. Our teeth) and we should optimize this in order to optimize our health!

I look forward to providing my patients with the level of care …and comfort that I would want for myself and my family. My goal with every patient is to diagnose current conditions, identify active problems, and provide information necessary for decision making, determine a specific course of treatment and then complete that treatment to return optimal health, stability, function and beauty to your dentition. I love what I do! I have a true compassion for the healing art and science of dental medicine and particularly enjoy returning the health, beauty and function that we all want and need for true health.
