After my surgery I am on short term disability insurance while off work. I needed a form filled out by my provider to be able to continue my disability pay. It was a time sensitive matter. The PA that I was seen by would not fill it out because he was not in on my surgery and my surgeon was on vacation. I have a deadline to be able to submit this form. I was told by the PA that he could not guarantee the form would be submitted in time. I felt like he was in a hurry and wasn't concerned with my problem. It was obvious I wouldn't be ready to return to work by the date that was requested on the form and this is my disability pay while I am off work.
