Dr. Michael A. McHenry, MD

This Doctor was extremely unorganized and unknowledgeable. After seeing him at least three times and an MRI later he still was unaware of the reasoning behind my appointment. rude and disrespectful, not compassionate or sincere at all, I’m not even sure how he is still in practice. He will downplay your pain, called me a liar multiple time. Actually, got loud with me during my appointment making me feel extremely uncomfortable, he made me so uncomfortable I walked out of my appointment in tears. Not to mention he dismissed me, saying “you can go now” I couldn’t believe the treatment I was receiving from a doctor with the “25” years of experience he repeatedly boasted about during my appt.

This Doctor is unbelievable he was an hour late he came in the room didn't introduce himself. Ask me what what can I do for you and why are you here? he kept referring to me as a mam. Very aggressive, rude, stand up, sit over there, go lay over. He must be picking certain people to be nice to get 4 and 5 star.

I am only leaving one star because I can't leave no stars. This Dr is rude and condescending. He was running behind schedule and his staff kept me informed. I needed to use the restroom right before he came into the room and he said I was putting him. behind schedule. He was already 45 minutes behind schedule at that point. He did the testing another Dr recommended and refused to tell me any of the results. I did get a copy of the report and my neurosurgeon laughed at Dr. McHenry's interpretation.

Dr. McHenry = arrogant, condescending, smug, sarcastic, horrendous bed-side manner. He is not a caring doctor. If I could leave negative stars, I would! During my visit, he leaned on the desk and did not seem one bit engaged or concerned about me as a patient. He was rude, did not show interest or concern with my issues. He even angrily stated that he was tired and had to get up at 3 a.m. He made it clear that I should be grateful that he came in to work today, despite the fact that he was sleepy. During the appointment, he asked what medication HE injected in my lower back/spine at the previous appointment. I was astonished that he did not know this important detail as he was the doctor who administered the shot. I told him that the information should be in my file. He responded by saying that that he didn't need my file. I couldn't believe that he did not have my file. Whenever I asked a question, he would give me curt answers w/out explanation and then condescendingly stare at me.

Dr. Mchenry has NO bedside manner! No people skills!! I could not get a word in with him!!! He was rude, arrogant, argues and accuses patients. He did not review my test results. When I asked for results, the office staff gave me a CD that I paid $5 for which only had pictures that only a radiologist could read. Just an awful experience!!!!! He dictates his assessment findings and God forbid you try to challenge what the transcriber writes in your chart as incorrect information, Dr. Mchenry will chew you up and paint you a liar as in my case. As a registered nurse, I reviewed my record and mentioned all the errors including the fact my name was even written wrong, he tells me, "oh so now you are saying something different"...if I was in court, I would have been locked up with all his accusations and conflicting report. I don't wish to have another encounter with him EVER!

The Best. Wonderful doctor. Explained everything to me. I felt he truly cared. Excellent Staff.

Dr. McHenry ROCKS! Dr. McHenry is knowledgeable and his motto is together we will work to find the problem. He is very compassionate and has a wonderful bedside manner. Dr. McHenry has done Epidural Steroid Injections on me and from scheduling to the date of the procedure date, everything was smooth. Dr. McHenry's staff rocks too. Kharisma and Brandon are awesome too. Dr. McHenry and his staff are the bomb diggity!

I first met Dr. McHenry one year ago. When I first went to him I told him I wanted someone that would listen to me and not make me feel inferior. Dr. McHenry listened to me. He has the most compassion of any physician I have ever seen. He has knowledge in his field and is eager to find your problem. Dr. McHenry has done a few Epidural Steroid Injections on me and I always was treated wonderful. Dr. McHenry has an awesome staff. Charisma and Brandon are assets to his team. I would highly recommend Dr. McHenry.
