in all my years I have never been treated by a doctor with such a poor attitude. I went through all the sleep studies and once I met with doctor and ask for help on machine issues , he bottom line told me if I want to turn the machine in then do it. doctor never once seem to listen to issues with machine made me feel as i was the issue and didn't really care about what i was telling him. very very poor. doctor needs to adjust attitude and consider who the patient is.

Does not listen to patient. He only cares about making money. He wants me and possibly most of his patients to get cpap machine when there are other options for mild sleep apnea. We discussed weight loss, position therapy and dental appliance which any of these remedies will treat mild sleep apnea. My sleep study test came back with (AHI) 8.1, oxygen low was 87%, heart beat 61. The cpap will cost me and my insurance a large amount of money for something that is not needed.

Staff is awful, rude, and disrespectful, Doctor is snobbish and very unprofessional. facility had dirty restroom and bed smelled foul. I do NOT reccomend...set-up like a Medicare fraud operation imho

I told him I had a consultation already and just needed to schedule a sleep study. Still had me come in and asked me 3 questions and I was with the assistant to watch a video . After that I was told to make an appointment to start the study which would be over a month away. The bill 380 dollars.

I was lucky enough to get an appointment with him in one day due a cancellation. He is not a "chat me up" kind of guy, but he did agree that I was a sleep study candidate. He explained what would happen and asked if I had questions a couple of times. I had the study done the next night and HE himself called with the results 6 hours later, again wanting to know if I had questions. I couldn't have asked for anything more!

It seems strange to me that a person this aloof would be drawn to the field of psychiatry. He didn't ask me any questions, made little eye contact, and just generally left me feeling like I was alone.

Dr. Mclaughlin rushed us through our first visit. He was not thorough, which seems to be of the MOST Importance when dealing with mental illness. He tried to recruit my husband into his sleep study he does at another facility and was completely unrelated to why we were there in the first place. If I hadn't flat out told him I disagreed with him and requested he test for Borderline Personality Disorder we would have been sent away without a diagnosis. This guy is young and arrogant and could have misdiagnosed my husband had I not been bold enough take control of the appointment. Seriously disappointed with this "doctor".
