Excellent on treatment of depression,i would recommend him for the tougher cases !!

He types his report while you sit there and doesn't listen to what you are telling him. He would rather increase your medication instead of taking you off of it.

Dr. Messer misdiagnosed me with serious consequences to my mental health and my career. He was totally self-centered. His office was like a shrine to himself. It was finally apparent that the only reason he wanted to treat me was because he found me interesting, something that was privately confirmed to me by another doctor in the organization. This is a very dangerous doctor. "Messer" is a very appropriate name for him.

I have been seeing Doctor Messer for years!! He has kept me sane in an insane world! He has taught me some of the simplest things on dealing with life in general. He has a warmth that makes me feel "normal". You don't know what a great feeling that is!!!!

Dr. Messer is a very experienced, progressive physician with cutting edge technology who 1)cares about the patient by taking the time to evaluate, diagnose, and treat his patient 2) Dr. Messer treats you in a caring an compassionate manner, 3)patients trust & have confidence in this physician to get through the emotional and physical pain the patient is/has experienced, 4)Dr. Messer is highly ethical 5) Dr. Messer takes the time needed to properly evaluate, diagnose, and treat his patients. I have referred patients to him on a professional basis over a 5 year period. Dr. Messer is up front with the options and possible side effects of treatment in a gentle compassionate but straight forward manner regarding the options of treatment. The Fox Valley has lost a talented, skilled, ethical, compassionate, energetic professional.
