Dr. Michael H Michalski, MD

I have seen Dr. Machalski for several years. Unfortunately last couple years rheumatoid arthritis is taking up my health time. His staff was very rude and very judge mental. I can’t go in there knowing that the staff is judging me and does not like me. Lots of luck. I wish the doctor a lot of luck. With staff like that I won’t visit him

Georgetown University medical school, US Navy veteran, and cardiac training at Scripps Clinic? I went with my dad to see Dr . Michalski and thought it was going to be a typical quick in-and-out visit with an over trained MD. What a surprise...he spent over an hour with my dad and LISTENED. So glad (and grateful)we got a referral to see Dr. M.

My wife and I are both patients of this outstanding physician. He has cared for us for over 8 years and has always been very thiughtful and careful. We have no other doctors that spend even half the time he does with us, which is why he often runs late. We would wait hours if we had to to see him, and I recommend him to anyone that wants great heart care.

I'm not pleased with Dr. Michalski and his manage of care regarding my mother. My mother had several procedures that weren't necessary. Constant medication changes. I come to discover that the reason he was orders unnecessary studies and blood test is because he was sticking it to the insurance company and my mother's condition was not getting any better. My mother will not be going back to him for management of her care. Also he's always chronically late- always in a procedure...

really bad i did not like dis office or staff or doctor!

My husband has been a heart patient for 9 years and we have always had an easy time getting appts and never had to wait in the waiting room or hardly in the room. Dr. Michalski spends plenty of time with us explaining my husbands current situation in terms we understand and has directed us to a surgeon when my husband needed surgery and then we come back to Dr. Michalski to maintain his health. His staff, even changing over the years, has been caring and competent. Not sure what's up with these other reviews - we are in there a lot and never witness bad treatment of patients.

In managing the medical care of my elderly mother, I had the good fortune to discover Dr. Michalski. I am very satisfied with this doctor. While some people may obsess over wait times I am telling you that he, in every case, is worth they wait. I have found that this cardiologist is the perfect combination of competent clinician as well as exercising good judgment as to how far to go with interventions. Though some physicians didn't hesitate to recommend radically invasive cardio thoracic surgical interventions, Dr. Michalski listened to me when I shared concerns about procedures that were high risk and low benefit given my mother's advanced age and condition (86.) He listened to all concerns and managed her care very well. With his medical management, she survived years beyond any other doctor's prognosis. I would highly recommend this doctor.

My husband was so sick for three months and I lost on May 20th becuase of terrible care from this so called doctor. I hate to even use that term. After my husbands death the only condolences he gave were your husband was old and he died. Well I'm old and I guess in this doctors opinion I should just crawl into a corner and die. I hope no one has to go through what I have went through with this doctor.

I wouldn't recommend this idiot to look after my gold fish. Not a good doctor and not a good man.

To all those who says Dr. Michalski is a surgeon, I believe that is a mistake. He is a Cardiologist and performs Cardiology interventions. Mistaken messages sends wrong informations. Gather your facts and deliver an honest opinion. He will not prescribe medications to you if you have an allergy to it. Sorry, I can not provide a rating, I am not one of his patient. I just know him because he consult patients where I work. I gave him 4 because when we call him, he is prompt to be at the hospital to see his patients where I work.
