Dr. Michael Darrell Milligan, MD

Dr Milligan is my favorite doctor of all times. So wonderful, so helpful and so caring, I can hardly think of another doctor who impressed me so much. Always a pleasant experience and you walk out feeling better no matter the pain. He is attentive to your needs and tries to help you get the appropriate help, always with a smile and a little joke to brighten your day and make you forget about your pain, Always looking forward to seeing him and always a positive and pleasant experience. His assistant is just as wonderful but I have to mention Melissa, the appointment desk employee who goes out of her way to be unpleasant ,disagreeable and disrespectful. Dr Milligan deserves better, deserves the best. Thank you Dr Milligan for your support and help.

Dr Milligan scowled at me the instant I walked in the examining room and winced during our conversation. He seemed to be uninterested in my back pain problem and pained to talk about it. It was as if he wanted to be somewhere else. Although the information he gave was good, I will not continue with him.

He's excellent. He takes the time to understand my issues and then developed a logical treatment plan.

When I broke my fifth metatarsal, Dr. Milligan treated me. I was in extreme pain and was not offered any pain medication by him. He did not prescribe any physical therapy/rehabilitation or even exercises to strengthen my foot after my cast was removed, and no follow-up visit was scheduled for after I no longer needed crutches. I have known other people who have had him as their doctor and they had similar experiences. The only reason I am giving him two stars is because he at least maintained a somewhat professional demeanor, despite the subpar care he gave.

He did come across as arrogant but this could simply be his personality. I for sure did not feel as if we had a good patient/doctor relationship. He told me that my constant back pain was from just getting older. Well, that is unacceptable, I can't sleep because I am in pain, I can barely walk, especially after sitting or driving in the car. It is a constant struggle, and for a 47 year old female that lives an active life I just cannot live with this till I die. So after paying $900 for x-ray and $60 co-pay, I received a referral to a physical therapist. I have never written a review so hopefully one will read this and make their own decision to see him or choose another doctor, good luck regardless of your decision.

I went to dr Milligan with a torn rotator cuff and arthritis in my shoulder. He patiently explained my options and treated me with my requested treatment. I am totally satisfied with him and will return to him as needed

Explained all of my options carefully. Affable, willing to answer questions. I will continue to see him for my ortho needs.

He was the most arrogant & rude Dr I have ever met! I would never recommend him to anybody-ever ! I should have read the reviews before I went to see him! What a waste!
