Dr Missler was the Cardiologist my mother saw when she was in Progress West. Our experience is that he didn't communicate or consult with her regular cardiologist much at all. It took us weeks to get her scheduled at the Barnes Valve Clinic and he choose to block a transfer from Progress West to Barnes the day before her Valve Clinic appointment. He was aware of her appointment, told her he knew about it and then blocked the transfer knowing that action would cancel the scheduled procedure at Barnes. We were forced to remove my mom from Progress West against his orders using an AMA release and take her by car to Barnes ER where she was admitted into the hospital. His behavior was either ego or profit driven, extremely irritated her regular Cardiologist and placed my moms life at greater risk. I'd recommend anyone else but him. I hope he reads this so I can tell him personally what I think about him, his ethics and morals.

Dr. Missler is a careful and considerate physician. He takes time to talk to you, ask questions, never rushes and is knowledgeable.

Can't say enough good about Dr. Missler! Really great bed side manner and takes his time with you and answers all your questions.

I met Dr. Missler when I was hospitalized with chest pains at Progress West and he was so kind and treated me with respect. I had a bad reaction to the Lexiscan and they called him and he came right away. All is well now and I'm set for a different type of stress test now. Very kind, thorough and didn't just say " anxiety" but more of... "lets figure out what is wrong". His office staff very friendly also.
