Went to Dr Mlecko for years and he couldn’t diagnose my chrons issues so he sent me to his golfing buddy. Which his only goal was to get rid of me. Went to the Vanderbilt University Dr Sara Horst and received proper diagnosis and treatment. I wasted years with Dr Mlecko and other stafff in his practice.

Dr. Mlecko is an outstanding doctor. I have been suffering with multiple serious issues from Crohn's Disease for the last two years. Dr. Mlecko came on board after a battle through two surgeries and he has stood by my side since I first saw him. He is responsive, empathetic, yet to the point. Dr. Mlecko is extremely intelligent and has great knowledge about my disease. The office staff is equally as responsive and empathetic, as I have gotten to know Sue and Kim, two of the best nurses that have ever treated me as well as two PAs, Halie and Nicole, who are equally as dedicated as Dr. Mlecko. He is by far the best Crohn's doctor in Pittsburgh and until there is a cure for Crohn's Disease, I will trust Dr. Mlecko with my health.

It was nice that I received a call from the receiptionist that there was a cancelation and opening which I took the opportunity thinking time spent in the doctors office would of meant more than pressing on a patient's stomach and handing out medical samples to receive a kick back!!!

Went in with YEARS of definite symptoms. Was given a misdiagnosis, a medication indicated for the OPPOSITE of my symptoms, the incorrect dose of it, pawned off on a useless PA. Who said things like "I'm not the doctor..." Why are you wasting my time???

I had a screening colonoscopy the other day with Dr. Mlecko, having just turned 50, and with a history of colon cancer in my family. Like most guys, I suspect, I had heard the horror stories about this procedure and was pretty nervous going in. Dr. Mlecko and his team were very reassuring and calming and told me exactly what to expect. The procedure was performed flawlessly and with no discomfort on my part. The doctor met with me in the recovery room, explained the results, answered my questions, and gave me a full written description of the procedure and the results. I was incredibly impressed with the whole process. Dr. Mlecko and his team are first rate.

Dr. Mlecko and his staff made a colonoscopy as pleasant an experience as possible! I had a large polyp removed and have direct family history of colon cancer. Get your colonoscopy -- it's not that bad!
