Dr. Michael Clare Morford, MD

I like Dr. Morford. He is a really nice person. And a good Doctor.

I first met Dr. Morford as a neighbor 25 years ago and he has been my doctor for over 15 years. He is a decent human being who really cares about is patients, including the well-being of their families whether family members are his patients or not. Now that his office has fully automated, waiting time is minimal, often as short as 10 mins between walking in the door to when I am fully checked in and actually with the doctor. I always get a prompt, personal call from him with lab test results after they are completed (and, nicely, also available on-line from Stanford's website). He takes time with each office visit to review and update my medical history, and answer any questions I might have. I have a serious illness and he has routinely urged second opinions from a noted specialist in the field of this disease. His staff is competent, friendly, and helpful when I am in the office. The only problem I've had is with prescription refills getting completed in a timely manner and… sent to the correct pharmacy; I was told this is often handled off-site and that may the reason for this problem (as reported by only a "3" rating for staff).

Dr. Morford has been my doctor for over 15 years. The reason I have stayed so long is because he really cares. He spends time answering question and makes his patients fill they are important. He encourages second opinions and his staff forwards any information to whom every needs it with the patients permission. During my time being serviced by this office I have never had a bad experience fighting a very serious illness.

Dr. Morford is completely ineffective, I think he's only in this field so he can drive his stupid Porsche with the vanity license plate that says "MORF," not unlike the boss in Office Space. He'll make you feel weird when it's time for your pap, saying things like "Oh, are you sure you want a pap today?" Like my lady bits have cooties or something, which they DON'T! Also, as a huge oversight on his part, he mis-prescribed a medication at a level way lower than the recommended dose which has gotten me in trouble with my illness. I'm now on the hunt for a new doctor.
