Dr. Michael Joseph Moskal, MD

My dealings with Dr. Moskal were a number of years ago. I was not a worker’s comp case. Dr. Moskal had two opportunities: 1.) To discover my Marfan syndrome and encourage me to see a geneticist for diagnosis and 2.) To perform a surgery on a difficult case that could have gotten a research paper and would have been a major success. My shoulder was a particularly bad case (due to Marfan syndrome, which was undiagnosed at that point). Basically, he accused me of Munchausen’s, yet noted my extra long fingers (which aside from hypermobility issues, was the sole trait I had visible that suggested something was amiss). Fast forward 6 years: I found out I had Marfan when I almost died giving birth to my first child and a geneticist was called in, who found the mutation. Also, I saw a different surgeon who did the MRI (which Dr. Moskal never did after seeing him multiple times), and performed a new surgery. The new doctor told me he could not promise me more than 80% restoration of… function and alleviation of symptoms. I had that surgery 4 years ago. Not only was it incredibly successful (and I got to 80% function which was more than acceptable for me), it has been long-lasting. The surgeon who performed the operation wrote a research paper to a medical journal about my case. Dr. Moskal is undoubtedly smart and competent. But his arrogance made him overlook an underlying process that was happening and was causing such bad shoulder instability and injury, and his arrogance led to a delay in treatment and a lost opportunity for him to have another wonderful success story. It’s so ironic, because he was *right there*, noticing the Marfanoid trait, but then, he disregarded it and instead, accused me of mental illness. I am in much better condition with a much more stable shoulder today IN SPITE OF Dr. Moskal - not because of him. I only hope that he learns and can better treat future cases like mine without jumping to conclusions.

There are good doctors, even great doctors and over the past 40 years I've been treated buy both! Dr. Michael J Moskal is no doubt one of the Best!

Dr Moskal is very nice he speaks openly about your condition he lets you know when surgery is required and when it’s not necessary at this time. I haven’t needed surgery to this point, but have been a patient for 15+ years. I highly recommend Dr Moskal

This Dr. will side with W/C ins. and will intentionally misdiagnose so W/C insurance can deny treatment. He does not have the patients best interest in hand, only lining his pockets with insurance money. He is the most egotistical and self centered Dr. i have ever encountered. A "Legend in His Own Mind".

Moskal did evaluation for workmans comp. watch what u say he changes everything around to help workmans comp. Staff in front office very rude.

This is a fantastic office. Dr. Moskal is the greatest as well as his assistant.

I did not have surgery. Dr. Moskal sent me home, confused. We talked about how blue jeans fray or wears out if you wear them all the time. He did noti discuss how he would fix my problem. He sent me home with a web site to veiw, This site was a promotional site for the doctor.300.00 dollars visit down the tube.

Rude staff, Very rude bedside manor by the Doctor. In my opnion he should not "try" to practise Medicine!!!

The Dr. and part of his office staff, were very condescending, rude, and arrogant in my opinion!After seeing another orthopedic surgeon it became very clear and apparently the doctor misdiagnosed by injuries in my opinion
