Dr. Michael Mostyn, MD

I’m speechless… I went in to the doctors office in Palm Desert to see “Dr” Michael Mostyn and I didn’t even get to finish the stack of paperwork they provide you in order to get a glimpse of your symptoms. The nurse came in to take my temp and she had confirmed that I had a high fever and I told her the rest of my symptoms. She then relayed the info to “Dr” Michael Mostyn before he came in. When “Dr” Michael Mostyn came in, he then proceeded to look me up and down and had the nerve to tell me, “well you look and sound fine” along with other condescending comments… he then accused me of staying out in the sun and said that’s why I have a fever…….. I just was speechless. I told him I’m sick and that’s why I have a fever and he started laughing along with other doctors and nurses….. He said I could go and I stopped him to ask if he had any recommendations or if he could write a referral to help me find a place that could look more into my condition and he said, “yes you can find… somewhere”. I walked out tearing up and started bawling outside because I’ve waited one full month to see this “Doctor” who had cancelled last minute the day of my original appointment then rescheduled me the next day, which brings me to this awful experience. As soon as I got home I filed a complaint with my insurance company about the “Dr” Michael Mostyn and they (my insurance) seemed quite upset as well about the terrible experience I had just gone through. I’ve never felt so belittled and embarrassed by a doctor in my entire life, and I feel a big part of it was discrimination as well as “Dr” Michael Mostyn wanting to go home/retire or something…. Please, please, please- if anyone else has experienced anything like this call your insurance and file a complaint immediately to find a better doctor. I know I’m not the only one who’s experienced this and I’m sorry for those who have similar experiences with that “doctor”.

After waiting for 20 days for an appt., and sitting in their waiting room filling out the pages, the doctor actually states "he can not write a prescription" for my problem. With a critical medical condition, he didn't give a referral or apology for not stating this when making the appt. Go to this doctor, if you don't need anything and just want to have lunch around the corner. I can't believe Michael Mostyn would do absolutely nothing. It is my fault that I didn't look at his ratings before changing doctors to him with his 1.5 starts (without my review). Horrible, unprofessional.... no help at all. - Good luck Dr. Michael Mostyn, I truly hope your medical career is short lived and by the look at the other reviews, it will be.

This office is horrible!! I've been with this office for just shy of a year and ever month like clockwork both my pharmacy and myself call the office to get a refill on my medications. It takes over two weeks for my medications to be refilled. However, this month they did not respond to my messages or my Pharmacy's faxes at all. I have now been off my anti-depressants for two and a half weeks now because of their lack of common decency. I did what I should have done the first time this happened, and I finally filed a grievance with my insurance company, and I switched doctor's. This doctor and his staff are as bad as it can possible get. I am 62 years old, and I have never had such poor service and horrible health care in all of my life. Stay away from this office!!

been there twice seemed ok but then trying to make other appts for flu shot and to have eyes looked at was told that they were out of flu shots and the other was they dont do eye appts .. always seeems to be the same rude office person who says this .... they are my doctors office but you wouldnt know by the way you are treated

The most Rude Weird Uncompassionate Doctor I ever met in my life . I couldn’t even tell him my opinion about the situation because my only reaction was to smile about his behavior . It was hilarious. I didn’t let this very negative person to ruin my day ????

Made appointment 1 moth ago, went to his office he was not there. Spent 2 hrs there. I needewd mty pain meds because was waiting to be authorized to see pain doctor which would take up a month to see him. This doctor has two differennt offices so the PA callled the other office and told me to go there next day for a scipt, They said he would not help me at that office and to make anthonr appointment which was very odd. He is my primary dfoctor!

I can't believe how poorly this office is run, Nobody seems to care about you. They want you in and out and to not ask any questions, awful bedside manner by all the Doctors.

i havent even gone to see this doc n i really dont want to anymore...changing doctor asap!!!
