My sister had to have spinal surgery and went to Dr. Munz. After her first meeting with him she felt confident that she had made the right choice however she quickly began have to doubts not long afterwards. The lack of communication between Dr. Munz’s Staff and the surgery center and the patient is non-existent. My sister was constantly having to call and ask questions regarding things that should have been communicated to her in the beginning. About a month after my sisters surgery, her incision started to re-open and Dr. Munz and his staff didn’t seem to be all too concerned. Good thing the home nurse that was treating my sister urged her to go to the emergency room. To say that Dr. Munz’s staff is unprofessional is a compliment. They screen their phone calls so they don’t have to answer certain patients, they never once sent the progress notes to my sisters primary care provide - and when my sister kept asking - they started ignoring her calls as well. They openly mocked… her on the phone, lied to her about sending records and also refused to answer questions when her incision opened up for a THIRD time they REFUSED to see her because she was having issues with her health insurance.

I had unbearable low back pain for almost a year. Dr.Munz operated and the relief of pain was noticed immediately.I've been pain free for the last five months. Please don't hesitate on contacting Dr.Munz's skilled servces or knowledge.

I am 2 weeks post op from my laminectomy surgery. I was in very severe pain and could not enjoy much anymore so I finally went to Dr. Munz. I wish I had gone sooner! The surgery was a great success and my recovery is not as bad as I had expected! Thank you to my doctor and his staff!

Dr. Munz reviewed my medical issue and made the decision that ACDF surgery was highly necessary to correct my problem. It was a very complex surgery and he did a remarkable job with the procedure and I am now pain free. I feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful doctor.

Dr. Munz did my back surgery and he also did my carpal tunnel surgery and ulnar nerve surgery. I trust him so much. He was very supportive to my husband when updating him while I was in recovery. The office staff is top notch. They are fast and courteous. I would recommend Dr. Munz to everyone.

My husband was admitted to memorial hospital ER and was instantly diagnosed as having a shunt failure, but to be 100%, of course cat scans and mri scans were done. We had never been to memorial, but my husband's new family medicine Dr is affiliated with Memorial. We had to "part ways" with my husband's previous hospital, which was "familiar ", so we were very nervous. Anyway, things moved quickly and we were introduced to Dr Munz . He was very concerned and direct, explained what my husband's issues were and that "time was of the essence " and he needed emergency brain surgery within the next few hours. He and Dr West (ccu/icu Director)worked the "specifics" out and Dr Munz performed the surgeries needed, successfully I might add (by God's grace), and my hubby was discharged after a week. He had a 2wk and 6wk checkup and was told if any issues arise, to call anytime. Dr Munz is amazing, is genuinely sincere , and has a gentle bedside manner. His asst. Katrina Lee is so sweet and… professional. The office staff is Very understanding and nice. The office wait isn't bad....about 15 minutes. There is candy and complimentary beverages. The office and waiting rooms are immaculate. Did I mention that Dr Munz saved my husband's life????? My husband was "hacked on" at a previous hospital. Dr Munz is so skilled and realized my hubby would be self-conscious of his vp shunt, He fixed it so the actual incision is smooth and barely noticeable. GOD sent us to memorial hospital and in the care of Dr Munz and we are forever grateful. Need I say, he is our "forever surgeon ", and my kids and I highly recommend him. I also need to add that my husband's progress is amazing. It's going to take awhile since he was "botched up" at the "previous hospital" , but he's doing great. Simply amazing, The quality of care at memorial was like "presidential". Dr Munz took great pains to make my hubby's shunt less noticeable and OF COURSE, fixed the issues. We are just grateful. Thank You to Dr Munz and Katrina, also his office staff! !!

I was in terrible pain and could not ambulate. I was referred to Dr. Munz. He immediately admitted me to the hospital for somewhat urgent surgery. Dr. Munz is amazing and I could not ask for any better. 6 weeks later I have no pain and have returned to work. Dr. Munz explained everything and took 5 long hours in surgery repairing my back. I was able to get out of bed and ambulate later that evening. I am amazed at how professional everyone was and how thorough and efficient everything went. I can get on with my life that was put on hold due to my condition thanks to Dr. Munz. .
