Dr. Michael J Muschel, MD

I recently had an appointment to see Dr M Muschel but apparently he was not there. The receptionist at the Monroe office told me first that my appointment was on the 29th and then she said I had an appointment on the 27th. I showed her that I had the appointment for the 28th and nobody had the decency to call me to tell me the Dr was not in. The only thing after she couldn’t say I had the wrong date was sorry for the inconvenience. It amazes me that they can cancel your appointment with no call but the other way around I would have been charged. I considered this totally unacceptable and unprofessional. I feel Dr Muschel is a good doctor but his staff lacks courtesy towards his patients.

Dr. Muschel is a wonderful cardiologist who has a great way of paying attention to what is said to him. He not only relies on diagnostic testing but listens to the symptoms being relayed to him and progresses from there. I would definitely & have recommended Dr. Muschel to anyone needing a cardiodlogist.

Always an hour or more late. Office staff slow and not attentive nor courteous. The actual consult when eventually getting to see Dr. Muschel is just passable. Misses a lot of what he previously documented in his notes on prior visits. All in all I give the office a 1-star and the doctor 2- stars. Physicians are plentiful, choose carefully!

Great cardiologist, I've been with him for about eight years. Caring, knowledgeable, flexible. Vitals.com should update the Columbia Doctors location info, by the way. You're listing them at an old address.

waiting for more then a week for follow up of test that was sent to their office within 24 hours. Unacceptable!

Dr. Muschel is a fantastic physician. He has a wonderful bedside manner and is an excellent listener. You don't usually find that in a physician these days. He seemed genuinely interested in me and my case and I have full confidence in him and his office.
