Dr. Michael Jay Nathan, MD

Nice guy, but no return emails for my inquires about abnormal MRI brain w/wo results. He was certain it would be normal but was not - I wrote him asking if he would consider ordering another imaging for my specific condition. No replies - for inquires twice.

Dr Nathan is awesome. He has improved my life by taking away my bad headaches. They have been a problem for years and really affected my life. Now I am better and more productive.

Dr Nathan is great. He cured my sinus problems, helped son with repeated ear infections and diagnosed a cancer in my Moms mouth and saved her life. He is a wonderful doctor.

Rated last visit 10 years ago. I'm calling for appt tomorrow. I'm sure ratings won't change. He's been my ENT dr for over 25 years. I won't go to any other ENT.

I am being treated by Dr. Nathan for an inner ear disorder and not sure if he is helping the situation. Maybe it's too early as I do have a follow-up in January. I think he could have provided a more detailed explanation of my problem and gone over options for treatment. At this point, I am uncertain.

I took an appointment to see Dr.Nathan and to my surprise and disappointment I had been seen by a physician assistant, the symptoms worsen and I took a follow up appointment in a week and demanded to see the doctor this time and I had to pay double the amount of money I would have paid had I seen him the first time, ironically it was a different diagnosis and treatment from the same office and within only a week!!!!

Dr. Nathan and associates are always very professional, kind, and answer any questions you may have. after going to this office for over 4 years, i wouldn't choose another ENT office over Nathan and associates.

This guy is a con man. I made an appointment with this guy because he advertises as being a specialist and I ended up seeing a physician's assistant. This is how his office practices medicine.

He is a jerk. I got tubes put in my ears on a Thursday which were not supposed to hurt, and called the doctors' office Friday because my ears were throbbing, and they told me if I had anymore discomfort during the weekend to call the on-call doctor, which unfortunately was him. I called back Sunday and he did not care at all that my ears were in excrutiating pain. He was not understanding or sympathetic, he just sounded annoyed and bothered and told me to take more pain pills which made me sick. That was the only advice he offered me and he was rude and condescending about it. He gets paid enough money that I think he can talk to me for five minutes on a Sunday without being impolite. Do not see him, he does not care about the patients who come into their office obviously. There are plenty of other doctors out there who are NICE atleast, and it is not like he even does a decent job apparently!

I have been seeing this doctor for over a year; but my sinus problem has not improved. As a matter of fact, some days it feels like it has gotten worse. Alos, when I make an appointment to see the doctor, I am usually greeted by the Nurse Practitioner. My insurance and I are paying a good amount of money to see the doctor, not an NP. Couple of months ago I had a sinus infection. I make an appointment, and of course, a nurse was assigned to me. I was given an antibiotic since the infection spread to my ear also. That evening/night my pain was so severe that I could not lay in bed. I was pacing back and forth. I called the doctor's (Nathan's) afterhour number and asked the operator to have someone call me, and may be prescribe me some pain medication. I NEVER got a call, even until now. What a racket.
