To my WONDERFUL Dr, My balance is restored. I have fallen two times hurting myself, and always felt off since the macular pucker. No one understood what off meant. Neurologist and internist could not figure it out. Your expertise with my narrow angle and cataract has put me at ease that I will not develop glaucoma. Dr. Nejat is a warm and caring doctor who does not treat you like a number. He is very personable and cares deeply about his patients. I am having cataract surgery by him and am very scared but he put me at ease. He is just wonderful! Also, the tech I saw Angela was also very caring and listened to my concerns and helped me. I was referred to Dr. Nejat by a coworker of mine for PRK surgery. I was told he was the best and to only go to him. My experience with Island Eye Surgery and especially with Dr. Nejat was first rate. The office is very professional and efficient. I wore glasses for 65 of my 68 years and now only need reading glasses! Dr. Nejat spent as much time as needed reassuring me and seemed to be as happy as I was with the excellent results. I recommend Dr. Nejat without reservation. He performed surgery to correct cataracts in both eyes and the experience was flawless. I commend him for both his extraordinary general skill and remarkable judgment with my complicated situation. I could not be happier with the results. While I could offer numerous examples, I will just mention that now I can easily see street signs, day and night, the date function on my watch, and iPhone's smallest fonts. I brought my mom here for a cataract evaluation. She was told by her optician that she couldn't be helped by new glasses anymore. Dr. Nejat gave my mom and me a detailed explanation of what was going on and how he could help her. Two weeks later she is smiling and singing Dr. Nejat's praises! Wonderful experience. I had Prk surgery last month by Dr. Nejat and now I have. 20/15 vision in both eyes. I was impressed on how hands on he was with me and did everything himself. He never dished me out on one of his staff members. He even gave me his cell number. I definitely recommend him if you are interested in fixing your vision.
