My whole experience with Dr. Michael Nelson was as good as it gets. Dr. Nelson and his entire staff were always encouraging. All of the staff were always pleasant and all seemed to enjoy their jobs. I would and have recommended Dr. NElson to several of my friends. If need be, I would go back to Dr. Nelson in a heartbeat .

I had surgery done on my veins 2 years ago by Dr. Nelson and his team. I had the procedures done in 6 separate sessions. Doing each procedure at a separate time allowed me to heal and function normally immediately after surgery. I noticed a dramatic change in the way I felt within two weeks of the surgery. I was no longer in pain and my legs felt great! Two years later I am still feeling great and so happy I had the surgery done. Dr. Nelson and his staff are warm, caring, and professional. I would recommend this practice to anyone in need of cardiovascular care.

Dr. Michael Nelson is an extraordinary physician, well-trained, up-to-date, and meticulous in his practice. He is caring and communicative and always 'tuned in' to the needs of his patients, and his staff have gone the 'extra mile' to make me comfortable during office procedures. put me through many procedures NOT needed (5) for veins in my right leg, when the problem was my left leg- told him from day one about the pain and swelling. Sent me for an MRI ($1000) only to determine he missed a large vein in my left leg. Went to another doc for 2nd opinion. Was given Vasculera ( Dr Nelson never even told me about it) which relieved the selling greatly & was told I had multiple unnecessary procedures under the "care" of Dr Nelson. I still owe over $2000 for my right leg that never bothered me to begin with. My new doc said the right leg was fine, no need to have had procedures without symptoms. I am VERY disappointed and feel like a dollar sign instead of a patient.

Do not be fooled by the good schools, education and training. Had two procedures with Dr. Nelson, did absolutely nothing to help my ulcer or varicose veins. During the second procedure, there was a problem, he put me on medication and shipped me to another doctor. I thought my next visit was for an ultrasound, only to find out it was to talk to me..I never would have gone back. AND, he charged me for the visits. For doing NOTHING. Do not recommend this doctor at all.
