Dr. Michael Stanley Niziol, MD

Worst run doctors office I have experienced. Despite the hefty fee ($1k+)they charge for the immigration medical exam, they make it impossible for you to get the paperwork. No one ever picked up the phone, returned voice messages or responded to the email. I had to call from a different number to finally talk to someone and she promised to give me a status update and ghosted me next day. Avoid this place at all cost and save yourself big headache!!

Dr. Niziol is exactly the doctor my husband and I were looking for when our PCPs retired. Dr. Michael Niziol is compassionate, available, extremely knowledgeable and current as well as thorough. While we try to be healthy patients, Dr. Niziol has recommended and his office has set up specialist appointments at times to rule out any negative physical possibilities. We couldn’t be happier and more grateful to have Dr. Niziol as our PCP.

My Appointment was 8;15 Am Dr Niziol gave me 5 Minutes only, when i was leaving his office it was 9;38 . His receptionist say they will call in or fax things then you find out they did nothing . It is frustrating to get stuff done. Dr Niziol use to give more time so you can ask all your questions and concerns not any more.

Ok usually I keep things short but I feel after letting time go by I want to address this problem that has built up the past year and end on a more positive note Great doctor and most of his staff are very professional and polite towards me other than perhaps a couple receptionists. Seem to have caught a rude vibe off of them more than once I've encountered them whether in person or by phone. I understand they work hard and are very busy however... It seems as if it's just me especially when I notice they are super nice to other clients and staff. As if favorites are being picked and it's quite obvious I'm not one. Not saying they are just seems that way. The nurses are always very kind to me especially the male nurse so I can't understand why it's so hard for them to treat everyone the same? I either get these looks of disgust, or an I don't give a you know what attitude in person or over the phone(assuming they know who I am). It's always the slidding door shut immediately in my… face, followed by eyes slightly rolled or some odd look after being told rudely to have a seat the doctor will be with you shortly. Like we know you're here to see the doctor but what are you doing here?! Being subliminal can only go so far until someone catches on and believe me it doesn't take more than one time for me to sense a vibe I'm not stupid. Yet when it comes to everyone else it's all kindness and smiles. Thank you and not a problem have a great day l. I treat everyone including the manager with kindness and respect. I'm always polite everytime I deal with them. I can be the kindest of all kindness and yet it's a problem. How does that work?! I expect this type of rude behavior from my local Tops but not at Dr. Niziol's. Not blaming just the recent staff but I've noticed every staff change or so throughout the years there's always one or so that also displayed lack of professionalism. If you don't like your job get a new one but in this particular case they don't like me I guess. It's one thing if it was just an encounter or two after a few I catch notice and it makes me feel more and more uncomfortable everytime. I'm not loosing any sleep over this just hope it could be fixed and def hope it's not a discrimination problem. My suggestion is perhaps brush up on manners and being professional not just towards staff but clients as well and treat them all equally. The Doctor on a positive note is such a great guy. He actually cares about my health and has treated me quite well with many healthier alternatives other than narcotics that most doctors I've dealt with prior to him would just give up on me and result to. That's why I trust him so much. You ask him a question he never beats around the bush and is very professional. Not having to deal with the mean manager directly lately (unless necessary) is the main reason I didn't give this a 3 but 4 instead. That alone for me shows that family medicine has come a long ways despite my initial problem. The nursing staff has def gotten better as far as acting professional and that's how a good business should always be ran.

The Doc is a lovely man and very helpful. The odious overweight cow playing receptionist is a miserable woman in desperate need of exercise, therapy and a hug.... She really was terrible to deal with...

Had me wait on a day when I couldn't so I said I would reschedule. Dropped me as a patient! Sent me a certified mail with a letter dated five weeks before saying that I needed to find a new primary care physician within 30 days! Which means, at 62 this guy has left me without a primary care physician! I was using this guy for a couple years and had no complaints before this! The office staff is unsympathetic to a patients needs.

My experience with Dr. Niziol and his amazing staff at(Family Practice Associates of Dryden) is nearly unexplainable. Their professionalism, compassion and care is top notch !!!! One who is nervous to see a Dr. Has been eliminated by the compassion and extreme moral judgment, has made going to my appointments with Dr. Niziol actually a calming experience, because I have total confidence in their experience, expertise as well as their moral convictions to keep my best interest thier number one priority!

Great family practice! Wonderful staff, PA, and doc. Wouldn't trust the health of my five children with anyone but Dr. Niziol.

I've know Dr Niziol for many years. He's always given me friendly personal care. From my problems with my knew to colds and flu and yes even when my step son - WHO WAS NOT HIS PATIENT AT THE TIME - needed a fast PRIVATE emergency test for a specific STD he was there for us. It was negative!! The staff was friendly and discrete. He is a blessing. How can I sum it up? He's a very competent no non sense guy who knows and understand seniors to kids.
