Dr. Michael J Nuara, MD

Michael Nuara, MD, is a double board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon specializing in surgery of the nose and ears; facial nerve reconstruction; microtia reconstruction; facial cancer reconstruction; and gender affirming facial surgery. Dr. Nuara is a member of several committees and co-chair of the facial reconstruction subcommittee within the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is also a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, American Medical Association, American Society for Cosmetic Surgeons, Northwest Academy of Otolaryngology and Washington State Medical Association. Dr. Nuara serves as a clinical instructor with the University of Washington Otolaryngology Residency Program and Program Director for the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health.
