Dr. Michael Francis O Connell, PhD

I had to see Dr O'Connell for an evaluation. He was very rude and cold. He refused to let me finish sentences, insinuated things that were not true, and then refused to let me correct them. He decided in the few minutes of meeting me that previous evaluations by other therapists were completely wrong, and insinuated that I was lying. The experience of being evaluated by this doctor was so triggering that I spent the rest of the day in a panic attack. This man shouldn't have a license. He doesn't help people. And he doesn't tell the truth. Don't come to him for relief. You won't find it.

This doctor lacks empathy. He lies in his reports. His bedside manner is grumpy condescending and impatient. Save yourself and refuse this doctor for any evaluations or services. He refused to provide copies of his report as well. We didn’t find out till 3 months after his review how to obtain copies, only to find out he lied and his evaluation mostly spoke about the parent not the child being evaluated.
