Dr. Michael James O'Neil, DDS, MAGD

Dr. Mike O'Neil, DDS, MAGD, is a general, cosmetic, and restorative dentist serving patients across the Gulf Coast through his practices at Longboat Key Dental in Longboat Key and Smile by Design and Implants in Bradenton, Florida. A West Bradenton native, Dr. O'Neil delivers full-service dental care utilizing advanced technologies—including 3D digital modeling and cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) imaging—to design precise, evidence-based treatment plans in a comfortable, patient-centered setting.

Dr. O'Neil earned his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida before receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the New York University College of Dentistry. He completed postgraduate residency training in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Demonstrating a career-long dedication to clinical excellence and comprehensive care, Dr. O'Neil achieved Mastership …in the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD), a credential earned by fewer than 2% of general dentists nationwide. He has completed extensive advanced clinical education through the Misch International Implant Institute, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE), the William C. Strupp Postgraduate School of Dentistry, and the Chao Pinhole® Academy.
