Michael Oriente, DPT

Michael Oriente is the Clinic Director at Physical Therapy Specialists of Old Saybrook. He graduated magna cum laude from Sacred Heart University in 2013 and earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Sacred Heart in 2016. Mike became Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) in 2018, completed a Fellowship in Applied Functional Science (FAFS) through the Gray Institute in 2019, and holds certifications in Manual Therapy (MTC) and Functional Movement Rehabilitation (FMR).Mentored for eight years by Paul Bauer, Mike co-founded Physical Therapy Specialists of Old Saybrook with Paul in 2023. As clinic director, he manages a full-time orthopedic caseload while continuing to prioritize student, resident, and colleague education.
