Meet Michael Orrantia, DMD
In nearly two decades as an endodontist, Dr. Michael Orrantia has completed over 25,000 endodontic procedures and is one of Tampa Bay’s most experienced endodontists and microsurgeons. Dr. Orrantia was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. He received his dental degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1988, and completed a General Practice Residency at Emory University and VA Hospital in Atlanta, GA in 1989. Following his residency, Dr. Orrantia entered private general practice in Tampa, FL for four years. Dr. Orrantia then went on to earn his Certificate in Endodontics from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey in 1995. He then returned to Brandon, FL. and established Advanced Endodontics of Tampa Bay (formerly Brandon Endodontics, PA).
Dr. Orrantia is a specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Florida Association of Endodontists, Florida Dental Association, West Coast …District Dental Association and Hillsborough County Dental Association. For many years, Dr. Orrantia has been voted as one of Tampa Bay Magazine’s Top Endodontists by his peers in the Tampa Bay area. He has also participated in numerous dental study clubs and lectured on various endodontic topics.
In his spare time Dr. Orrantia enjoys golfing, boating, fishing, snowskiing, and traveling.
