Dr. Michael David Overbeck, MD

Dr Overbeck cares about people. He listens and is very thorough. I have been seeing the doctor for more than five years and he has proven to be a caring and dilligent Doctor. His staff is excellent and has always been friendly and professional.

Dr Overbeck is one of the Good Docs who truly cares about your health issues. His office is Friendly and Caring.

Dr. Overbeck himself was ok; it's his staff. The staff there have no intelligence or common sense, no sense of customer service, are lazy, rude and unorganized. I can not in good faith go back there knowing those people are behind the desk running the show.

Dr O is a very nice guy but he is passive and disorganized. His website (phillymedcenter) advertises his hormones but he doesn't understand hormones, he relies on his assistant Shawn for that. Shawn is not a dr and is only there twice a month. I do not trust Shawn to be making decisions for me. One time Shawn was a no show and another time he bluffed his way through an appt with me, pretending to look at labs in my file which were actually lost. AGAIN. The staff is rude, disorganized and lazy. I have spent countless hours calling them to see if my labs have come in. They would rather cancel your appt then actually find a fax. They don't know how to use the fax or the computer and do NOT care one bit about your well being.

I highly recommend Dr. Overbeck as a Primary Care Physician. He always listens intently and gives very good advice, feedback as well as medical care. His entire office is very professional and easy-going and it is easy to get an appointment. The waiting area is pleasant. He is an Internist and has developed his own vitamins and has an Acupuncturist of Chinese Heritage who is an MD that works from his office a couple times a week; she has her own office on the Main Line.
