Dr. Michael M Packer, MD

I was a patient of Dr. Packer for about 7 years. For the past 3 years I've had increasingly worsening pain, fatigue and other symptoms. I regularly saw Dr. Packer and while he would treat each individual symptom, I started to feel there was a bigger picture we were missing. I finally tried to talk to Dr. Packer about all my symptoms to see if he might see a connection and work toward getting me some relief. Instead, he belittled me and brushed me off. He actually asked me if I thought I was dying and told me that things couldn't possibly be as bad as I was "trying to make them sound". He was wrong. Within 3 months of switching to a new Dr, I was diagnosed with MS. I believe Dr. Packer's medical neglect greatly lessened my quality of life and of health for a significant amount of time. I have 2 young children and our family has, of course, been effected by this as well. His unwillingness to truly listen to me has allowed this disease to progress so much further than it likely… would have if detection and treatment would have began years ago. I am so beyond saddened and disappointed in Dr. Packer's treatment, (or lack of treatment) of me. I hope this review will help prevent anyone else from going through a similar experience with this Dr.
