Dr. Michael Lee Palmer, MD

Went in, sat in waiting room while listening to staff chat about a co-worker who was rude. Phones were ringing while they kept gossiping. The doors going into the patient area were all black from filth and grime of the years that the door had been touched by people. Dr Palmer walked in, shook my hand and proceeded to give me a color printed paper about gall bladder removal. The same thing I could've printed out from Google... He then asked if I had any questions, while I was asking my first question his phone rang(not vibrate but rang LOUD) and before I finished my sentence, he ANSWERED his phone in the appointment??? With his finger up in the air, motioning one minute. While on the phone he told me:"you can gather your stuff and check out". I stood at the backdoor for 15 minutes while he was on the phone and the 10 other staff members in the room paid no mind to me. After his call was done, I asked him if he knew what my name was. The doctor had NO shame in admitting… that he did not even know what my name was! I've been to friendlier dermatologists... think twice!!

I had Pilonidal Cystectomy surgery with Dr. Palmer..Shortly after the wound opened again. Dr. Palmer told me to wait. After two months, my wound was not improving but Dr. Palmer seemed uninterested, annoyed at my requests for help. No concern for me, no medical curiosity. I felt alone, went to the emergency room, they referred me to Dr. Zorc who did an ultrasound and found that the root cause was on a different place!. Had new surgery with Dr Zorc. He and his staff are the best, go there instead

I made an appt to be treated fo fibromyalgia with accupuncture. I had to wait over 40 minutes and the doctor provided no accupuncture but only asked me what I wanted to be treated for and said I would have to make follow up appts for any treatment. A complete waste of time. There was no evaluation, he barely spent 10 minutes with me asking the same questions the receptionist asked when I made the appt. I should have been advised that no services would be provided on the first appt. I was then billed fraudulently for services that were not provided. I have seen several acupuncturists over the last 3-4 years and all provided the service on the first visit. This is just another way for a doctor to be able to charge for an extra visit where the patient did not benefit and not only didn't receive treatment but was falsely billed for them.
