Dr. Papciak is outstandin! Although my son is now 42, I am grateful he was a Patient of Dr Papciak. My son was a medically special needs child and ADHD. He was sick CONSTANTLY from age 3 months with severe asthma and immune deficiency. He even got the first case of Red Measles before he was old enough to get the immunization. No matter what Dr Papciak stuck with us day and night! When he moved to Atlanta I had to get a Pediatritian, an ENT and an allergist to try to do what Dr Papciak had done alone. Continuity of care was so bad I had to carry a notebook all the time to tell the 3 doctors what the others were doing. When we hit brick walls I always called Dr. Papciak for help. He always gave me the right advise. Most importantly, he offered for me to bring my son to Atlanta if needed and he would hospitalize him and send us home with some answers. I never took him but that offer was worth more than gold. It saved my sanity! Also his sense of humor gave me a good laugh every time I… needed it . My son has now finished college, culinary school and is a chief and food and beverage director with 2 children of his own. Thank God for Dr. Papciak!!

Dr. Papciak likes to prescribe meds to kids no matter what the issue is--even if the issue hasn't shown up yet. He prescribed Tamiflu to my 8 year old daughter even though she didn't have the flu "just in case". He didn't want her to have to miss out on a birthday party. My son was having ADD-type issues and the doctor scoffed at the idea that sugar could contribute to the symptoms and instead of trying to remove sugar from his diet he prescribed a new "test" medicine that hadn't been fully proven to work yet. If you want your kids to grow up to be addicts then he's your man.

He is an amazing doctor and I love the time I get to speak with him, however I always feel like our visits are very rushed and there is very little follow up from him. The staff are amazing but the wait is sometimes borderline unacceptable.
