After a terrible auto accident that shattered my femoral neck in left hip, left me 14 months on crutches in horrible pain hobbling around with still broken hip, Dr Patney gave me new life with a very complicated hip replacement. With his expertise and determination with my complicated case, I am now back to my normal life, walking, working and enjoying life again. Thank you Dr Patney, you sir are the best !!

Over one year since my ankle fusion. Worst experience of my life. Office if horrible and so are follow ups. Was told I could pound on it in three months. Well, over a year now and I can get across the street without a cane. REALLY. He is nothing but an assembly line in my opinion. All other opinions have confirmed that ankle is not "right" yet he keeps saying it's fine?

I've been a patient of Doctor Patient for almost 5 years and think he's the best in all of North East Florida. Have recommended him to many people for all types of orthopedic problems and they all agree with me.

I chose Dr Patney after discussing with friends their reasons why they needed an Orthopedic doctor. The information that I acquired told me that Dr Patney was the right choice. His BIO was very helpful and accurate. He is a very honest straight forward doctor who has a very excellent bedside manner. During each and every office visit prior to my TKA he stressed that only I and doing the therapy was the only way to full recovery. Yes I had anxiety as to post surgery plan but from the moment I left the Orange Park Surgery Center I knew that we had made the best possible plan for recovery and rehab. Have had nothing but positive experiences.Due to many surgeries,Dr. Patney and staff seem like family.

Bring a book to the Fleming Island location because you may be awhile waiting for your appointment.Have literally spent HOURS waiting. They will tell you a time but you will be there way after the scheduled visit. They have a sign saying they pay extra attention to patients so there might be a delay, that would suggest minutes, not HOURS, then a 15 min max time with the Dr. or assistant. They need a lesson in scheduling as I have never experienced this kind of wait time anywhere else. Good Doctor but bad office management.

Outstand doctor.

I saw Dr. Patney after I was having trouble with a pain in my hip. He was very knowledgeable and treated me with the utmost respect. I would recommend anyone going to see him.

It is next to impossible to get an appointment for follow up care after having hip surgery, his office staff is horrible. I now find out his office is moving and his staff is being replaced, I would love to change doctors, but my luck another doctor does not want to see me, because they are afraid they may get in the middle of his work, which I would just love to have follow up care, and feel like someone really cares what I am going through.

I have seen Dr Patney for about a year now and I would recommend him to anyone, he has even treated my father. Done surgery on my husband and has seen several of my friends for various reasons. Great personality he really cares about his patients and he makes sure that every patient is treated with the same respect that he gets.
