Dr. Michael Jason Penrod, MD

I saw Dr. Penrod only because or regular doctor was out of the office that day. And it was one of the most miserable experiences that I had with the American health care system. Rude, arrogant and inconsiderate-- that sums up Dr. Penrod's behavior. In addition, he made me feel very uncomfortable by constantly scratching his upper thigh area while talking to me. Unacceptable service level and vulgar behavior.

Dr Penrod is an excellent physician. He is always courteous, insightful and thoughtfully addresses all of my concerns.

This doctor is lazy. He is not into looking for the real problem. His solution to everything is to loose weight and he is quite rude about it. I found another doctor to found my thyroid problem where Dr. Penrod's answer was I was getting old and needed to work out more.

On the initial visit, the office staff had me fill out a questionaire, The physician went over my responses, but then failed to order any lab tests to see what my currentsituation was. He has cancelled all appointments my husband and I have made (3) and rescheduled them at his convenience. I don't have a sense he is at all interested in our health.

This physician has a poor communication skills with this patient. Thinks he know everything and was not open to discussion of treatment modalities.
