Dr. Michael James Pernoud, MD

This review is several years delayed. I had to have a tooth extracted-I was not numb, Dr. Pernoud was aware yet continued the procedure. I was in extreme pain, but he did nothing. Now, here we are 8 years later, and come to find out that he did not do any grafting to avoid bone loss and further damage to my other teeth. Now I am facing further maxillofacial surgery and costs that could be in the amounts of $10,000 or more (plus the $4000 I already spent for this monster). I beg you all to go to someone else who knows what they are doing!

I went in to have a tooth pulled. He gave me a local injection and then was ready to start pulling before my mouth was even numb. I said I wanted to wait for the injection to take effect and he said there was no need to wait. I was very anxious at this point but he did nothing to put me at ease. He pulled the tooth and the numbing worked ok. I hated the whole extraction ordeal. By the time I got to the car in the parking lot (which was not far, we parked right by the front door), I was feeling pain. By the time I got home a half an hour later, I was in major pain! Luckily my daughter had driven me home. I could not believe the amount of pain I was in and how little pain medication he gave me. He has no bedside manner, it's all a big joke to him.

My husband had 3 teeth pulled the basterd didn't numb one side and he was well aware they were infected. He pulled those teeth and cut on my husband wile he screamed and kicked his feet it sounded like he was being tortured. This man is evil and should not be a dentist. My husband was traumatized! He never offered to put him out and was not sympathetic at all.

Dr. Pernoud pulled a tooth. It seemed effortless and it was out quickly. I had no swelling, pain and the bleeding lasted about 2 hours thanks to the Great Physician who heals me.

The office is very small, and the equipment looks to be from the 70â??s. My wisdom teeth removal was very painful which I expected. What I didnâ??t expect was the extent of the pain. I left the office in uncontrollable pain, and was only given ibuprofen and Tylenol. I was told by Dr. Pernoud that that was all he could give me. After two days of excruciating pain I called in to his office, and was mocked for have a low pain tolerance. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone, he is greatly lacking in bedside manor and compassion.
