Dr. Michael Andrew Perry, MD

I'm glad I found Dr. Perry when we first moved I to the neighborhood. He is a doctor to both my 3 and 1 yr old. Any questions or concerns I have about my children i feel comfortable to ask.

Seems like the same client has posted several negative reviews about Dr. Perry. This is unfortunate, cause we think he’s excellent! Dr. Perry is very gentle, respectful and kind with my children. They actually look forward to their doctor’s visits. I have nothing but good things to say about him, or the staff at this location. Everyone is very pleasant, patient and efficient to deal with. I would (and do) recommend this office to anyone who’s looking for personable and professional child care.

Dr. Perry has been caring for both my children for over a decade. I recommend him to everyone looking for pediatric care

Out of about 8 appointments with Dr. Perry, I have had 1 good one. Every time I am blown away by his condescending/patronizing demeanor. I thought at first that he was just odd and I was misreading him, but that is not the case. he actually told me one time not to leave my baby on the exam table unattended! Lol! Like I would do this. I wish I could give my most pertinent examples, but it would give away who I am. I also want to mention that he is VERY conservative with treatment. He will let your child go with a terrible cough for weeks and tell you to bring him/her back in for a follow-up. If he would have treated one of my kids then the other one possibly wouldn't have gotten sick. If I did everything he told me to do, I would be truly nuts! "No this, no that..." He is by the book. I'm in the midst of searching for a pediatrician with a personality; who is polite and who isn't afraid to actually treat my kids. Done with building blocks! They actually do have a courteous staff but I… gave them low marks because I want people to know how strongly I feel about not going to this doctor.

9 years ago I was with another pediatrician who never returned calls. So I switched to Dr. Perry, since my siblings used him too. He's always been the best. My kids when they play Dr. pretend to be him. Many times he's followed up with us personally about an issue. The office staff has always been great. I now live 45 minutes away from his office and STILL see him. He is strict about safety issues with kids, but don't you want that?

I've seen two different personalities out of Dr Perry. His bedside manner has never been his high point. I've never really had an issue with him until the latest visit. He was rude and condescending towards me and my choices for my child. I was blown away by this behavior. So much so I didn't get to ask a question that was important to my child's care! I'd never seen him act like this and I left there feeling like a terrible parent when I know I am not! This was the first episode of this so I'm really teetering on wether I switch ped's now or give it another chance. Wether he was having a bad day or what it was demeaning and I still can't get it off my mind.

My 3 daughters have been seeing Dr. Perry for over 9 years. He has always been great! His office staff have always been nice, helpful and prompt when needing papers filled out for school, etc. They also fax them to me very quickly if needed! I have never had a problem getting my girls in, even same day appointments. My oldest is 15, she still prefers to go to Dr. Perry. My youngest is 6, when something happens after ofc hrs and I say I'm taking her into Children's urgent care, she insists on waiting (if non-emergency) to see her boy dr. All in all I'm very happy w/ Dr. Perry and my 3 girls are very comfortable going there! =]
