The appointment went well. I feel lucky to have another good doctor.

I got an appointment the next day for a wound on my leg. I waited 10 minutes to be seen by a medical assistant who updated all my personal information and my reason for coming to see Dr. peterson. A nurse came in next to talk to me about the wound on my leg. Then Dr peterson came in after reviewing my medical history and spent time talking with me to diagnose my condition.Dr peterson then spent time with me explaining why i have the wound and what caused the wound and detailed what i need to do to avoid the wounds in the future, I was very worried when i went to see the dr and felt very assured i would be ok after spending time with dr peterson and his staff.

Dr will take time to explain all options, what to expect during, after surgery.

Over the almost 4year period I've treated with Dr. Peterson I have found him to be the consummate medical professional. Thorough, thoughtful, always willing to explain a condition in terms that are understandable and caring. A surgeon who uses his surgical skills only as a last option. Best way to say it ......I trust everything about this doctor; He cares!

Dr. Peterson is very thorough. He listens to my concerns and spends great deal of time explaining every aspect of my condition, giving the pros and cons of treatment and explaining everything in layman's terms. He is also very kind and has a good bedside manner. The only thing negative I can say is the time in the waiting room can be rather lengthy at times, but it's understandable given his willingness to put his patients at ease and making sure he explains everything.

Not sure if this is the norm but we had to wait over one month to get and discuss results... that is completely ridicilous! Suffered for over one month only to be told everything was normal - meaning we then had to follow up with other doctors!!!!!
