Dr. Michael Bardo Peyser, MD

Saw him at Sameritan Womens Wellness Center in Watertown, NY where Peyser has been the main Dr for breast cancer pts for Norther NYS. He lacks a personality. My mother was a pt of his when she was initially diagnoised with breast cancer. Her first appointment with Dr. days after getting that dreaded "its cancer" phone call did not go well. He drag on and on about the pathology results, he tried to explain the results by doodling pics of breasts (it looked like something my son when he was a preteen had doodled thinking he was funny) The problem was he did not have all the results and instant of saying that he was not preparded to meet with us and to reschedule when all results and pathology reports were available he tried to save his behind. He did not reconginze he had lost my mom's attention as she eneded getting dressed ( he did a physical exam) and told him that she had had enough, she was overwhelmed and finished. I am shocked to see he has over 2 decades of experience, but still… comes unprepared to meet with a pt that just got the cancer diagnoises. We didn't realize how poor Peyer's care was until we went to Upstate Cancer center and went with the team of drs that will be caring for my mother going forward. I don't know how Peyser still has pts after seeing how another cancer center opterates.

Very careless with a major surgery caused me a seizure and lied and tried to deny it. Worst after surgery!

Outstanding doctor. Beautiful bedside manner. Tremendous surgeon. Good person.

Diagnosed with BC, I did a lot of research and consults with other doctors, highly recommend Dr. Peyser. Kind, Caring and Meticulous. Took a lot of time explaining and talking about options with me, always feel good leaving his office. Staff is wonderful as well.

I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon! Loved that he was matter of fact didn't sugar coat anything. He took his time to explain. Left office with a good feeling. Definitely would recommend for breast surgery!

Dr. Peyser is a wonderful doctor I would recommend him to anyone that has to go through breast cancer from diagnosis to surgery to after care. He is caring and compassionate and very particular about all of the details of your care!

Dr Peyser is an excellent caring Doctor. He called me at home to see how I was doing.

If you care very much for your health, have some surgical needs and belong to cancer risico group you cannot find the better doctor in Hampton Roads eria as dr.Michael Peyser and his stuff.I am very sorry to heard doctor Peyser is leaving this eria and moving to Buffalo, but I am wishing him all the best on his future jorney!Thanks dr.Peyser for all your care!

I am so grateful to have Dr. Peyser as my surgeon. He spent gracious time with me during my diagnosis and before surgery and afterwards as well. He called to follow up and made what was a scary thing for me easy to undergo because I knew exactly what to expect. Now with a second surgery necessary, I couldn't ask for a finer Dr. and I am at peace knowing he will be there to look after me. A fine man and a gentleman.

I was surprised that I did not receive a post surgery phone call from Dr. Peyser or his staff.
