Dr. Pfab has a long list of impressive accomplishments and credentials that he has accumulated over 25 years in his pursuit of becoming the best dentist possible for his patients. His list of post-graduate continuing education courses in advanced dental techniques include just about everything and lots of it!  His emphasis has been on saving teeth and making them gorgeous using his training in smile enhancement and reconstruction.  Dr. Pfab feels comfortable treating the most demanding of dental problems with his background in orthodontics; jaw and bite disorders, implants and porcelain smile makeovers.
In his efforts to give something back to the community, Dr. Pfab supports many local charitable organizations and teaches other dentists as a consultant. Since the mid 1990’s, Dr. Pfab has been on the faculty of the VCU dental school as an Adjunct Professor.  He has authored dental articles and is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry.

Well, Patients love Dr. Pfab’s  “laid back” Chairside manner the most.  He wants to create a low stress and light-hearted visit to make things easier on you.  Let’s face it, having dental work done isn’t on the top of anyone’s fun list, but having a caring dentist with a sense of humor goes a long way to making your visits more enjoyable.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Pfab becomes a “Sweet-pea” for his lovely wife Rachel.  Together, they enjoy spending time with their children, Catherine, Anthony, Joseph, Nicholas, Jonathan, Evan, Christina, Brendan and little Jacob.
