Dr. Michael Paochen Pi, MD

Dr. Pi was extremely calming for my Overly nervous, frightened wife. He came in to talk and reassure my wife prior to her surgery. His personality is as good as his skills as an anesthesiologist ie above EXCELLENT. Cannot thank him enough.

Briefly, in a stressful environment, he provided a calm, confident and safe relief for my husband and I. Funny and reassuring, Dr Pi took the time to answer all our questions and eased much of our anxieties.

Dr Pi took excellent care of us and my baby. Warm and gentle and very patient with this nervous mother .

Dr. Pi made me feel like we were his only patient. Took the time to relax me before the surgery and stayed after to make sure everything was alright with me. His bedside manner is second to none. Thank You Dr. Mike.

There are so many things I could write in describing my experience with Dr. Pi but there aren’t enough platitudes. I was on vacation in Hawaii when my daughter had a very serious medical emergency. Dr. Pi stepped in and calmly walked me through Anesthesia options and how we were going to get to the best outcome possible given the circumstances. My family and I will never forget his excellence and especially his kindnesses.

If you’re nervous about bringing your kid to surgery, request this guy! :)

I was so anxious before my surgery and as soon as I met Dr. Pi, I felt relieved right away. He’s so funny and easy going, and even though he specializes in children, he took care of me like “baby bunny” :)
