Dr. Michael Jerome Picciano, MD

I’ve been Dr. Picciano’s patient for at least 30 years and was very upset that he is retiring. But he’s earned it! He know me and my issues and my family. He always listened and if he didn’t have the answer to a question, he made sure we found out. He was always easy to talk to and never minimized our concerns. He will be missed!

Everything negative you hear is absolutely spot on. Doesn't read charts, doesn't remember what he has said 5 minutes ago much lass anything he may have said in the past. Most importantly, he really doesn't care. If you don't like anything about him, you are encouraged to go somewhere else. You will receive more in the three hour wait in the waiting room from people you don't know than you will from him

This Dr. is absolutely terrible, he is self consumed, doesn’t care about his patients at all, works 4 days a week 6.5 hours a day, if you complain about anything he will terminate you immediately, he is arrogant, incompetent in my opinion, wait times in his waiting room a minimum of 1 hour. He doesn’t want to know you just your wallet. Run far from this practice if you care about your life and health, it’s a meat market

This Dr. has a wait time of an hour minimum, he spends 5 minutes with you. He does not want to know you, his main concern is to protect himself, and you are not allowed to complain about any concerns with your visit, he will terminate you immediately if you do. He does no have your back at all, meat market mentality.

I have been seeing Dr P for over 10 years now. My wife and son also see him. He has seen my son since birth. What I like about Dr P is he listens to my concerns and if I think I have an issue that I think needs attention he will refer me to the proper specialist and consult with that specialist to be on top of my care. I would recommend him to anyone as a Family Dr, If you have possible serious health issues see a specialist.

Dr Picciano brings back memories of the family doctors of long ago....those who knew you well, and cared for and about you. He is always willing to listen and consider your ideas and concerns. His staff is great. It's a very friendly place to go. They make you feel right at home. They are all very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Followup is great too.

Except for the waiting time this Dr. makes you feel at ease and explains the diagnosis and treatment so you can understand them.

I feel the need to warn patients about this doctor. Although he is a very nice man, his skills as a doctor are questionable. I went to Dr. Picciano several times because I felt something was wrong with my heart, he shrugged it off and prescribed me an antidepressent. Come to find out I did in fact have a heart condition that required surgery that another dr found. He also misdiagnosed my brother-in-law who had a blood clot in his leg and could have died. He told him he had asthma. Lastly my neice went to see him for a rash and he said they were flea bites, turned out to be poisen ivy. None of us no longer see this dr. Be very wary, especially if you feel you have something serious, get a second opinion before it's too late!

We love Dr. P! He is personal and professional! My whole family goes to him because he knows us all so well! He has a great group of nurses and his PA's are top notch! Best doctor in the practice!

I am quite fussy as I am educated as an alternative healthcare consultant and research daily. The Doc was personable and correct diagnosis, he was respectful of mynatural healthcare and all round I'm very pleased.
