I have seeing Dr Pool for many years. He is so wonderful. He gives me his complete undivided attention. He does not dictate to me, he just gives me things to think about. You can not go wrong with this very patient doctor.

I am a patient of Dr. Poole. I have a long history of anxiety and depression that stem from years of abuse. I have seen many many psychiatrists. This man not only listens to me, he asks me many questions to make sure I am taking the right medications to keep me on even ground. He has truly changed my life. I am a productive member of society in a very important/high paying position. This would not have ever been possible for me without the proper medications and that is a fact! If you are suffering from major psychiatric symptoms, please see this man. He will change your life if you follow his instruction and take your medications as directed. Your mental health does not have to rule your life! Dr. Poole will help you rule it! Love him! He is AWESOME!! He is not a 5 star physician, he is a 10+ star physician!

Dr. Pools is the best psychiatrist I have ever had. He is not one to just write prescriptions and send you on your way. He takes the time to listen to your symptoms, explain his diagnosis then explains the treatment options available. He is the only psychiatrist who has explained to me how each medication works with your body and the advantages/disadvantages of each. After each appointment I feel like I am in control of my anxiety because I know how to treat it. Also his support staff is extremely helpful and responsive if you have any questions at all.

Dr. Pool is, without a doubt, the best psychiatrist in Knoxville...he's patient, kind and extremely smart. He explains how all medications work with YOUR body chemistry. He never passes you off after 10 minutes with a Rx that you know nothing about. I feel calm and relieved when I'm finished with the appointment.
