Dr. Michael Ralph Probstfeld, MD

in 2010 Dr Probstfeld MD did a Laparoscopy fixing my Hiatal Hernia with the best care and overall it fixed it to the point having none of the symptoms of having that problem. The Hospital at TMC is a top notch unit. Any surgery after eight years and people can hear my stomach make noises and eating late at night no issues. Success is sweet. Don't trust his knowledge of basic anatomy, or he knew my ugly ex-husband surgeon and butchered the veins one of my two legs on purpose.

A decent surgeon, but likes to talk in terms that make seem him overly intelligent. Might deviate from the truth when put into a corner by someone with brainpower equal to his.

Egotistical, arrogant and self absorbed. Good surgeon,but take a witness with you when you talk with him. If he makes a mistake he just might lie about it!

The office was a mess, they could not get my insurance taken care of even though they told me I was approved. The Dr. was very professional and at the consultation it was a positive experience. I came in for a procedure and had a lot of pain after. I kept calling the office and the person on call and NO ONE returned my calls. I just recently went to see another vein doctor regarding this same leg I had the procedure on and was told the vein was not tied low enough. My veins are worse than before the procedure. I have scarring and was told by my current dr, the same procedure could be done without stitches. I would not recommend this office or Dr.
