Dr. Michael Thomas Pyevich, MD

I saw Dr. Pyevich for my dislocated shoulder and I really liked him. I love that he has years of experience, is very knowledgeable and I felt very secure with him. I don’t have confidence in young, inexperienced practitioners. I also appreciate that he orders only what is necessary and not a million things that aren’t. I can’t say enough good things about him, however, I hope after this that I don’t ever need to see an ortho again. If you want someone who is confident and knows what he’s doing-go see him. I highly recommend him! I got assigned to him through the ED, and am so thankful I did!

Unfortunately we did not have the best experience with this doctor. He was very direct which I can appreciate but, let’s not get direct mixed up with rude. I was told our daughter only had one treatment option and one only. He made my daughter and myself feel very uncomfortable by the way he asked her to undress. When I asked if a summary of the appointment with treatment and medical terms discussed could be produced he said “well no, it’s just what I told you”. I felt like I was being judged for not making the decision to follow his treatment right then and there without talking to my husband first. To be honest I felt like I was in a big cast factory and all they wanted was my money. We will be getting a second opinion.

His approach was direct professional to resolving the problem. I appreciated his expertise. Yet Dr Pyevich was friendly and put you at ease.

Dr Pyevich and his surgery team are the BEST EVER!!!!! THANKS again for getting me to be already to walk without pain!???????????????

Dr. Pyevich has been absolutely fantastic. From the first time we met this fall and all through my ankle replacement surgery, he has been a wonderful doctor. He answered every question I had, he fully described the procedure and recovery process and he did a great job with my very challenging degenerated ankle. I had no pain in my ankle after the 3rd day following surgery. I went from having an ankle nearly the size of a softball to a normal sized, fully functioning one. And before surgery, when people learned I was having my ankle done at ORA they'd ask, "Who's your doctor?" As soon as I'd say, "Dr. Pyevich", they'd say, "He's great, he did my mom's or dad's or daughter's or some other loved one's or their own ankle." That was so reassuring before surgery, and now I've joined the group asking, "Who's your doctor?" Thank you Dr. Pyevich for all you have done for me.

Dr. Pyevich explained everything very clearly. He made sure to ask if I had additional questions. I had taken pictures from before and after surgery and I was amazed at the difference. He did an excellent job. Even my stitches were perfect. Looked like quilt work! I would highly recommend him for broken / dislocated tubulars and splintered fibula. It will be a long road to recovery but feel confident in Dr. Pyevich’s care.

If there was a negative number, he would get it. Why is this sociopathic, judgemental man still practicing medicine?? He destroyed my life!! I sustained a foot/ankle injury which he refused to properly treat. After 10 months, he simply told me that I would never walk again and that I just needed to accept this. He didn't like the fact that I was on disability for things he couldn't see. I was in my last year of graduate college at the time and I had to drop out due to his negligence and judgement he placed upon me. I later had to gendure 4 major surgeries to fix all the damage he had done. Each surgery required 8-12 months of rehab. I couldn't work either. Why is he STILL PRACTICING?????????

I can't thank Dr Pyevich enough for fixing my Achilles. He truly listens to his patients and takes time to discuss their questions and concerns as well as explains things so you understand them. I would recommend Dr Pyevich to anyone!
