Thank you Sir. Hurt my right leg on 9-5-2025. Tore my quadraceps away from my patella on my right leg. Walking without crutches on 10-21-2025. In leg brace set on 70 deg. Doing great as far as I know anyways. God Bless you.... I start therapy in two weeks. Hoping to drive by Thanksgiving...

Please read this review! I can see that Dr. Quackenbush gets a lot of five star reviews, but in order for you to make a decision on a doctor, you have to know why he deserves five stars. My friend was referred to Dr. Quackenbush from the emergency room after sustaining a clavicle fracture.  The ER doctor told us immediately that Dr. Quackenbush gets more thank you letters than anyone else in the hospital.  This is significant.  I'm an ER doctor too.  We generally hear about every good and bad thing that gets said about doctors anywhere in the hospital.  We are also the ones who call doctors in the middle of the night to answer our questions, so we  see those doctors in their most unguarded moments.  If he recommended him, this was a good first step. When we called on a Friday to make an appointment to see Dr. Quackenbush, the appointment was made for Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving.  Later that day, we were called by the office advising that Dr. Quackenbush had reviewed the… xray and was offering an earlier appointment two days before, on Monday.  We later discovered that he had made this change because he knew that there was a good chance that we would elect to have surgery to stabilize the fracture and this was his only opportunity to get it done before the Thanksgiving holiday, which I feel is exceptionally proactive and considerate to a patient he had never even met before. At the office, Dr. Quackenbush was personable and efficient.  He gave a very clear and concise review of the possible options for treatment, including surgery or no surgery.  In my experience the majority of clavicle breaks don't require surgery, but this was a particularly severe and displaced break and fell in a "could go either way" zone.  He outlined the reasons why we might elect to have the surgery as well as the reasons why we might not.  He drew diagrams on the dry erase board to illustrate what he meant. I've been a board certified emergency doctor for 28 years and even for me, this was the best explanation I'd ever heard about under which circumstances you repair clavicle fractures.  I'm only sorry I'd never heard it explained so clearly before. In the end, he gave us time to make a decision and we elected to have the surgery the following day.  He had the anesthesiologist perform a regional block to help with the post operative pain (though if you elect to go this way, you should be aware that the block also causes nearly complete, though temporary, paralysis of the extremity).  He came out to the waiting room to talk to me after the surgery and shared a photo with me of the hardware used in the surgery.  And it's a small thing, but he repaired the skin with subcuticular dissolving sutures and steri strips.  I don't know whether this is considered much better than using staples, but I can tell you that it's a lot more trouble to put in than staples, and I appreciate the additional effort.   Afterward we got clear instructions on post operative care.  The office called the next day to assess how the patient was doing, and Dr. Quackenbush called personally a few days later to make sure that his patient was doing well and had no further questions. In all, the only really negative thing I can say about him is that his name is too long to write for this review.  :)

Thanks to Dr. Quackenbush, I am back to using my right arm and right hand. He spent a lot of time and energy investing in the best choices possible as far as the outcome of my surgery. His attention to detail, to fix the mess I created, gave me the best possible chance at functioning (even with the massive damage I caused). Throughout these past 7+ weeks it has been a continual journey with the ‘best of the best’ surrounding me throughout the process. I am so grateful and very blessed to have been guided to Dr. Quackenbush and their awesome group at Resurgens. I am very grateful he took me in and put me back together. Marilee Weeks

58 years and never broke a bone. Broke all bones in ankle and Dr Q put it back together! He and his nurse Ruth have been wonderful! Made me feel comfortable and even called to check on my a few days after surgery! Best trauma bone surgeon and I would highly recommend him!

Great doctor,

Dr. Quakenbush saw me for two injuries within two years. The first one was nonsurgical and was fantastic and really made me feel at ease. The second was the fracture of my hip (I'm very young). Luckily for me, he was the trauma surgeon on call that day at the ER and completed my Hip Repair Surgery. He will spend ample amount of time with you to make sure you are well informed and comfortable, as well as answering any questions you might have. He made sure to check in on me multiple times in the hospital as well as by phone after I was released. He is by far the best doctor I have ever seen in my life!

I am a current patient. Met Dr. Q in the ER. He and his staff have been outstanding. Iv had two surgeries so far. He answers all your questions, and elaborates with you! Im very pleased with the work that he has done. Im still in the healing process. He calls to check on you, and we can all imagine how hard that is for a very busy trauma surgeon.
