By far the worst doctor I’ve ever encountered . I had the worst experience with the doctor . He is very self absorbed . I was grateful to find a much better doctor who’s skill were amazing . I suggest go elsewhere !

Dr Quinn was extremely rude during my follow-up visit. After spending less than five minutes checking my fracture he literally snapped at me when I asked him two questions concerning my injury. Very unprofessional.

I suffered a serious crush injury to my hand 3 years ago and Quinn ended up being my doctor. Initially I was very encouraged that he would follow through with his commitment, however I realized he became less and less supportive the more I questioned my lack of progress. He seems most effective when he calls the shots. I had to insist on a second surgery to remove my scar tissue, which both therapist and I clearly understood to be impeding range of motion. I had regained impressive movement after that surgery, but when I had inquired about removing the plate--as he said he would--and addressing surgery to improve adduction, he became quite hostile and refused. He actually accused me of unreasonable expectations and said "I will not let you talk me into another surgery!" He seemed possessed of too much ego to consider the procedure. I took great offense at his angry and belittling tone. Found a surgeon through U of M who did not find my expectation unreasonable. In fact, the U of M… doctor immediately agreed that the muscle which Quinn said was gone, was quite active, from simple palpation--something Quinn did not even do. Just had a successful surgery at U of M, confirming the muscle was choked with scar tissue. A tendon transfer was also done. Quinn is good, but his ego prevents him from being great. His charm, skill, and optimism expire the minute you challenge him. And I agree with the other patient who felt he used age as a factor. So my advice is that when you know your body, and potential, always get a second opinion--and make sure the second opinion is not in the same network. Beaumont doctors stick together, at the expense of the best outcome for the patient.

Dr. Quinn is a very friendly and funny surgeon. Surgery for my right wrist was scheduled quickly. His surgical staff was very kind, smart and to be honest easy on the eyes! Especially the tall nurse who took me back and the blonde in business clothes (manager?). Anyway, pain is gone. Great Dr. And a great view. Thanks Dr. Quinn!

I can recommend Dr. Quinn with the highest rating of any doctor I have ever seen. He is simply the best!! He put my 2 broken wrists back together, and he did it with such skill. I was so lucky to have found him!!

I had broken my wrist on a Sunday my wife called his office on Monday and I was able to get an appointment that same day. After consulting with Dr. Quinn, and easing my mind of what he was going to do, I had surgery the next day Tuesday. I feel he was able to get my surgical date so quickly because it was at a surgical center and his office is in the same building. It was a wonderful experience ( no pain or heavy drugs) from the pre-op staff to all the doctors and nurses. Dr. Quinn understood my needs and was able to communicate that to me. He is caring and passionate about being a doctor who firmly believes in helping his patients. He is a true minister to the people he serves. I would recommend him to anyone who asks.

When I broke my wrist I will always be grateful that my Primary Care Physician referred me to Dr. Michael Quinn. He is one of the finest and most personable doctorâ??s I have ever met. While I was with him on my last follow up for my broken wrist I mentioned the trouble I was having with tingling and numbness in my hands, especially while riding my motorcycle. Nerve tests showed I had severe Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Dr. Quinn performed Carpal Tunnel Relief surgery, my hand has not gone numb since and I am able to sleep through the night without being awakened by the numbness running through my arm. When my wife met him prior to the surgery she was as impressed with him and his demeanor as I am. I cannot overstate the sense of ease and trust that I felt right from our first meeting. He is not just a great doctor, but a sincerely nice guy! I wish he could be my Primary Care Physician!

Had several wrist procedures. Front desk employee was pushy and instead of being compassionate and using her expertise in an area we had no experience in, rather got us out of the door an moved us along. Another nurse was awful, completely rude and actually lied to us before she even knew what she was talking about. We had been prescribed 7.5 narco due to 5 not working BEFORE the surgery, and the Dr. Accidentally prescribed the 5 AFTER the procedure (which would have never allowed us to manage this level of pain) and she said "the Dr. cannot do anything for you, that is the highest we can prescribe" appalled at the ridiculous statement, we asked to speak to Michael Quinn and he immediately prescribed a much stronger medication to mask the pain and my wife said "I am pretty certain a surgical center can perceive what they need for pain management" Dr. Quinn is a good Dr. but there are definitely some MISSED opportunities with his staff, professionalism and general compassion towards the… medical situations.
