Dr. Michael Scott Reddington, DO

I have taken two people to the ER at St Vincents who were treated by Dr Reddington. One was my girlfriend and the other my mother. In both circumstances he was curt, unprofessional, with a less than inviting bedside manner. His diagnosis was wrong both times based on follow up visits with specialist. Do not even attempt to ask questions or fill in important details of the circumstances because he will belittle you or ignore you entirely. How this man is employed is beyond by a reputable hospital is concerning. Seems he only works holidays and graveyard which explains a lot.

I am very displeased with him based on his diagnosis of my daughter w acute depression lab work normal yet her refused to scan her head then discharged from the ER walking alone wrapped in a blanket.no meds, no scans. He does NOT exemplify the mission of what St Vincent’s Hospital stand for. I know he would want his child taken care of better than this BUT he treated my child less than an dog. Then he basically said this is healthcare in the US. We are insured and are citizens why would he say these things?

Dr Reddington should not be in the healthcare field. After waiting for 4 hours in the waiting room I was finally seen if that’s what you want to call it. He never asked about my current medications my chief complaint or anything for that matter. He just said ok your abdomen hurts we will get started and see what happens. 5 more hours later he comes to tell me my tests were normal and tried to send me home. I had to beg for nausea medicine. I received a copy of my tests and they were not normal. Now my primary care is trying to rush getting things done that he didn’t care to do and may need surgery now.
